Created by founders Xavier Baker and Conrad Gauntlett, Mermaid Pink Gin builds upon the award-winning Mermaid Gin recipe while celebrating the island’s exceptional natural produce. Every bottle reflects the distillery’s commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability and premium British gin-making.

The gin’s delicate pink colour and refreshing fruit character come from fresh strawberries grown in the Isle of Wight’s Arreton Valley, an area renowned for its fertile soil and sunny microclimate. In keeping with the distillery’s environmental values, imperfect strawberries that might otherwise go to waste are carefully repurposed, giving them a new life within this beautifully crafted spirit.

Unlike many pink gins, Mermaid Pink Gin contains no added sugar. Instead, the natural sweetness of the strawberries complements the classic gin botanicals, producing a crisp, elegant and well-balanced flavour without becoming overly sweet.

Mermaid’s signature coastal character remains at the heart of the recipe through carefully selected botanicals including locally foraged rock samphire, traditionally known as “Mermaid’s Kiss”, alongside elderflower, citrus and warming grains of paradise. Together they create a fresh, aromatic gin with remarkable depth and complexity.

Presented in Mermaid’s iconic scale-textured bottle, inspired by a mermaid’s tail and the surrounding sea, the packaging reflects the brand’s dedication to sustainability.
