At Last Drop Direct, we are committed to providing a reliable, secure and responsible delivery service. As a licensed retailer of alcohol, all deliveries are carried out in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003 and our commitment to responsible retailing.
1. Delivery Areas
Last Drop Direct currently delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to addresses where the delivery of alcohol is prohibited by law or where our delivery partners are unable to provide a service.
2. Delivery Charges
• Standard UK Delivery: £5.99
• FREE Standard UK Delivery on orders of £75.00 or more
Delivery charges are calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is taken.
3. Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible during our normal business operating hours.
During busy periods, public holidays or circumstances beyond our control, dispatch times may be slightly longer than usual.
Any estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed.
4. Delivery Service
Orders are delivered using trusted courier partners, including Royal Mail where appropriate.
Tracking information will be provided where available, allowing you to monitor the progress of your delivery.
5. Age Verification
Last Drop Direct operates a strict Challenge 25 policy.
All alcohol orders are sent using an age-verified delivery service.
Before placing an order, customers must confirm that they are 18 years of age or over.
If the person accepting delivery appears to be under the age of 25, the delivery driver may request valid photographic identification before releasing the order.
Accepted forms of identification include:
• A valid passport.
• A UK photocard driving licence.
• A PASS-accredited proof of age card.
If satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided, the alcohol will not be delivered.
6. Failed Deliveries
If a delivery cannot be completed because:
• nobody is available to accept the parcel;
• age verification cannot be completed; or
• the courier is unable to safely deliver the order,
the parcel may be returned to the delivery depot or to Last Drop Direct.
Should a re-delivery be required, additional delivery charges may apply.
7. Safe Places and Alternative Recipients
Alcohol deliveries require successful age verification where requested.
For this reason, alcohol orders cannot be left in a safe place or with anyone who cannot demonstrate that they are aged 18 years or over if identification is requested.
8. Damaged Deliveries
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.
If your parcel arrives damaged or appears to have been tampered with, please contact us promptly and, where possible, provide photographs of the parcel and its contents.
We will investigate the issue and work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
9. Missing or Delayed Deliveries
Whilst we aim to ensure every order arrives on time, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather, transport disruption or courier delays.
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate with the delivery provider.
10. Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided during checkout is accurate and complete.
Last Drop Direct cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied at the time of ordering.
11. Delivery Restrictions
Last Drop Direct reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe that completing the delivery would breach licensing legislation or compromise our legal responsibilities.
